Along with zinc plating there is a full choice of chromate conversion coatings also known as passivates. These include black, olive drab, yellow or colour, blue, and trivalent passivates. Enhancing the performance of the conversion coatings further are numerous post treatments including silicated sealants, torque tension additives, and dewatering fluids.
